YIDI MOTION Expands Linear Motion Line with LME-L Series Longer-Type Linear Ball Bearings

YIDI MOTION, a manufacturer of linear motion components, today announced the launch of the LME-L series of longer-type linear ball bearings. Built on the proven LME metric housing interface, the LME-L series extends the overall length and adds recirculating ball circuits, giving design engineers a direct drop-in upgrade when a standard-length bearing is approaching its load, life, or rigidity limit.

Engineered for Longer Life and Higher Loads

The LME-L series targets applications where stroke length, mounting envelope, and load rating push a standard linear ball bearing toward its service limit. By lengthening the outer cylinder and increasing the number of loaded ball train circuits, the series distributes radial load across more balls, lowering contact stress per ball and extending rated travel life without changing the standard metric housing bore.

“Customers told us they needed more load capacity and longer maintenance intervals, but they could not redesign the housing,” said a spokesperson for YIDI MOTION. “The LME-L series answers that directly: same mounting envelope, longer effective bearing length, and double-sealed pre-lubricated operation out of the box.”
